The position is responsible for understanding and applying accounting principles, preparing and analyzing financial reports and statements; designing and executing appropriate internal controls; developing/maintaining desktop procedures.</h3><p></p><h3>This position offers a generous base salary of up to $110K and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position)</h3><p></p><h3>Senior Accountant responsibilities include:</h3><ul> <li>Prepare FLASH reporting and oversee month end closing</li> <li>Prepare quarterly Call Reports</li> <li>Prepare Consolidated and Combined working papers</li> <li>Prepare journal entries (month/quarter end and allocations), data/statistical analysis, monthly report preparation, and budget participation</li> <li>Review and sign-off on Staff Accountant journal entries and reconcilements</li> <li>Configure, modify, test and implement both current and new software workflows and procedures to ensure compliance with updated accounting standards and operational requirements</li> <li>Enforce Company and Departmental policies and procedures</li> <li>Process and/or review entries related to FCIS, FNR, and FNR II</li> <li>Prepare rebills for intercompany entries and assist in posting when needed</li> <li>Analysis and research of individual accounts and outstanding items at all company levels</li> <li>Assist in annual external audits and regulatory audits (example: OCC, Federal Reserve, and FDIC)</li> <li>Oversee departmental processes and identify opportunities to automate and streamline workflows for increased efficiency and accuracy.</li> <li>Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports</li> <li>Prepare managerial reports as needed</li> <li>Oversee Property renditions and Property taxes for 300+ branches</li> <li>Cross train and help staff accountants with daily work</li> <li>Participate in webinars related to Banking, Accounting, and overall Regulatory reporting</li> <li>Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality</li> <li>Travel as need to meet business needs</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul><p></p><h3>Who Are You?</h3><p></p><h3>You’re someone who wants to influence your own development.

Where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but merely the starting point for your future.</h3><p></p><h3>You also bring the following skills and experience:</h3><ul> <li>At least 18 years of age</li> <li>CPA required</li> <li>Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting or finance</li> <li>3-8 years Accounting Experience</li> <li>Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures in manual and automated systems</li> <li>Understand the concepts of report writing in accounting and/or financial applications</li> <li>Proficiency in report writing and ad hoc reporting</li> <li>Must be detail oriented, analytical, and organized</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li> <li>Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy</li> <li>Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment</li> </ul><p></p><h3>The next step is yours.
