Our client Industries is looking for two Senior Java Developers. We need a backend and a UI developer. The candidates must complete a coding challenge and be able come to Birmingham for a f2f interview.
The process: Consultant completes coding challenge, does one f2f interview, then there is an offer.
Degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline - preferred
6+ years in Java Application Development (Java/J2EE/EJB)
Comprehensive SDLC experience (requirements, architecture, design, testing and deployment)
Understand and be able to explain common OO Design patterns. Knowledge of front controller pattern a strong +Web Service Development (XML/SOAP/REST)
Knowledge of Cobol / CICS a plus (Migrating legacy code to java and native stored procedures)
Develop applications using JAVA framework with Sencha (Ext & Sencha Touch) front end technologies.
Knowledge and solid experience with open source frameworks such as Jquery, requireJS, EXT.
Advanced knowledge and experience with DB2 & WebSphere application server.
Degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline - preferred
