Civil Project Engineer

We have a career opportunity for an Civil Engineer to join our growing aviation group in our Colorado division. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience. The candidate must also have experience designing aviation projects.

This individual will be developing plans, specifications, and estimates for airport agencies and private clients.

- Design responsibility for elements such as pavement, drainage, utilities, lighting/NAVAIDS, security and fuel facilities

- Responsible for project design calculation files, ensuring adequate independent quality control reviews

- Manage the process of compiling and coordinating plans, specifications, cost estimates and pay items

- Coordinate and review drafting and the assembly of plan sets

- Develop and oversee task work plans for assigned team members

- Perform occasional field construction observation, sometimes requiring out-of-town travel

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required

- Experience with FAA design standards preferred but not required

- P.E. license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain shortly after onboarded

- Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projects

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
