Job Summary

Summary

Responsible for greeting all guests, data collection, entry and reporting, inter and intra-office communications, scheduling, assistance with applications, clerical and other related duties/projects. When interacting with clients, this position will provide client-centered, culturally responsive, trauma-informed support/services, offer accurate information and referrals, and encourage positive prevention and risk reduction. Essential Functions

Welcome all visitors with a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, harm reduction approach.

-Maintain digital/physical files for multiple databases/paper files.

-Coordinate purchase orders.

-Manage inventory.

-Troubleshoot office equipment.

-Support staff with daily tasks.

-Coordinate client travel to health services and related services.

-Help schedule client appointments.

-Assist clients in completing paperwork and applications.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience

Experience working with individuals living with HIV, unhoused individuals/families, people in recovery, trauma survivors, members of Black, Latine, GBTQ+ communities, formerly incarcerated individuals, and/or other historically minoritized populations with cultural humility 1-2 years required and Experience with community-based, nonprofit, grant funded programs; community health; public health/human services; outreach; health equity 1-2 years required and Experience with essential administrative, organizational, and communication tasks to keep an office running smoothly 1-2 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Knowledge of local resources that support social drivers of health – transportation, housing, food access, employment/education.

- Skilled in strength-based, people-first, harm-reduction, culturally humble, and restorative approaches to equitable community health care and prevention.

- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

- Person with lived experience of populations served is a plus.

- Strong cross-cultural interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills.

- Intermediate digital literacy required.
