As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in San Jose, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a driving Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns.

You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, exits, and security-related observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident reports.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and communicate security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
