Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol

- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at utility-related locations. - Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. - Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. - Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed. - Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and follow applicable post orders.

- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. - Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. - Access control and badge experience is preferred. - A guard card or license is preferred. - CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
