As an Access Control Officer at a government location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and government personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy violations, and unusual activity.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
