- Lead communicates and direct distribution associates through daily activities focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.
- Perform process audits to ensure compliance to documented procedures.
- Hands-on participation requiring high level of floor presence to direct the flow of daily activities and the timely movement of associates to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness throughout the operation.
- Capture daily performance activity for determining effective methods to increase performance.
- Monitor system and communication with internal/external customers to ensure work in being completed timely.
- Attend and assist with “Pre-Shift” meeting to share information, discuss safety, quality, daily plans, and staffing needs.
- Provide feedback and input to supervisor regarding associate’s performance, behavior, and attendance.
- Follow all safety guidelines and always use appropriate PPE.
- Experience & Education: Minimum 2 years in a fast-paced distribution environment with a high school diploma or equivalent; prior leadership experience and WMS knowledge preferred.
Requirements : Proficient in basic computer skills, warehouse systems, and power industrial equipment; able to lift up to 40 lbs, work at heights, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
