Electric Vehicle Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY : The EV Charging Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the completion of electric vehicle charging infrastructure construction projects within Technical Operations' EV infrastructure team. They will have direct oversight of specific projects, suppliers, sub-contractors, overall budget, and project completion timelines.

- Supports Republic Services' Electric Vehicle Strategy across the organization.

- Manages EV infrastructure construction, hardware, and software partnerships for multiple sites across various geographical locations to enable successful EV operations on time and on budget.

- Collaborates with site personnel, contractors, engineers, etc. to determine the specifications of the project.

- Hires contractors and allocates responsibilities as needed.

- Negotiates contracts with external vendors to align corporate budget

- Ensures adherence to all health and safety standards and reports issues.

- Administers client and vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts.

- 3 years of managing cross-discipline teams that design, operate, or maintain large scale infrastructure systems.

- Ability to read construction drawings and develop strategies for charging infrastructure.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written

- Proficient in MS Office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
