- Maintain a visible, armed law enforcement presence inside the public building to deter threats and enhance employee and visitor safety.
- Conduct routine patrols and security rounds of the building, including common areas, offices, entrances, and exits.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or policy violations and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, or security concerns in accordance with law enforcement standards and departmental policy.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with building management, employees, and other security or emergency personnel.
- Provide assistance, information, and direction to the public in a courteous and professional manner.
- Enforce applicable laws, rules, and regulations within the scope of off-duty authority.
- Prepare reports or documentation related to incidents or security matters as required.
