As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government cultural location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly in fluent Spanish and English, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a public museum location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, entrances, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional information, and support a welcoming environment while observing museum policies regarding exhibits, restricted areas, and prohibited items.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
