Security Officer Armed New Jersey Patrol

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and guests while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. - Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. - Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. - Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control, and the reporting of security-related concerns. - Carry and maintain assigned duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. - Possess an Armed Guard Card/License. - Be at least 21 years of age. - Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate. - Customer service experience is preferred. - Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
