Principal Sourcing Engineer - Strategic Sourcing Team

Engage with cross-functional leadership including architecture, engineering, product management, and business teams to determine best design solution and supply base to deliver that solution at optimal supply chain and cost. Manage contracting activities with Legal and ensure contracts reflect appropriate business terms, IP protection, etc.

Cost and operations management: Build multi-sourcing strategies to mitigate risk and drive appropriate competition. Analyze the overall supply chain to identify risk and drive resolution to systemic issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-times. Manages the supplier relationship, leading and coordinating efforts to drive supplier performance improvement across all areas of the business.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 8+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 6+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR equivalent experience Doctorate in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 5+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles.

OR Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 8+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles. OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 12+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles.

OR equivalent experience. 6+ years industry experience in consumer electronics in the semiconductor and silicon space. Experience in Chipset or Wireless sourcing or sales.

Experience in negotiating complex contracts and deals. Proficient storytelling and influencing skills with a track record of developing and nurturing key stakeholder relationships.
