Systems Design Engineer II

- Creation and release of New Glenn Integrated Launch Vehicle Engineering drawings and models which support mission objectives - Create and maintain interface control drawings and models between major New Glenn elements - Create streamlined processes and linked datasets to enhance our design engineering processes to operationalize our System Design organization

- B.S. degree in engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the development and packaging of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures. - Demonstrated configuration control experience from early trade studies through final design and into manufacturing and test - Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills - Strong design and integration skills using 3-D CAD software and visualization tools - Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools - Good judgment and flexibility.

- 2+ years of demonstrated ability in development and integration of aircraft, space craft, or launch vehicle structures. - Experience using PTC Creo, DOORS, and Windchill - Knowledge of aerospace vehicle fabrication and assembly techniques - Ability to interpret and apply high-level system requirements to practical design solutions - Current secret clearance, or ability to obtain needed clearance

Base Pay Range for: CO applicants is $90,934.00 - $127,307.25 WA applicants is $99,201.00 - $138,880.35

- Required for all positions: Blue's Standard Background Check

- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation

- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
