As part of the Strata team , you'll work at the exciting convergence of mission-critical embedded systems and cutting-edge Blue Origin Generative AI technology , developing the platform software that makes spaceflight safer, smarter, and more reliable.
You'll leverage your expertise as part of our highly collaborative team, developing essential platform software (drivers, middleware/IO, and more) and innovative tools for varied spaceflight systems. - Harness collaborative skills as you integrate avionics platform software into a varied portfolio of groundbreaking products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering , Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Deep hands-on experience with real-time systems, multitasking, and synchronization in embedded environments
- Experience with software loaders, device drivers, middleware (I/O, BIT), hardware abstraction, and low-level interfaces
- Knowledge of multiple hardware architectures (ARM, x86) and RTOS/ QNX/ Yocto Linux embedded environments
- Experience with CI/CD environments and tools such as Gitlab, Jira, Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative teamwork experience
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to collaborative team culture
- Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT)
- Experience in safety-critical software development within aerospace, automotive, or similar industries
Base Pay Range for: CO applicants is $123,714.00 - $173,199.60 WA applicants is $134,961.00 - $188,945.40
