Full job description

At Capital One, we believe great products begin with a deep understanding of our customers. From our earliest days, we pioneered the use of predictive modeling to individually personalize credit card offers, turning the entire industry on its head.

In the Small Business Bank, our customers are the lifeblood of the US economy, making up 99% of businesses in the US and accounting for 44% of the country's GDP. We've built an organization that is focused on listening to and learning from the millions of business customers we serve every day to make sure our products, services and experiences work as hard as they do.

The Manager, Product Manager for the Associate Servicing team plays a critical role in achieving our goals. This is a highly collaborative, strategic role where the individual will work closely with tech, operations, and business partners to provide servicing associates the tools and resources they need to care for our customers.

This includes deep investments in AI tools that simplify associate experiences so they can concentrate on the customer they are servicing.

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product Management:

- Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions

- Business Focused - Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence

- Technology Driven - Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value

- Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks

- Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment

- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing

- Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience

- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
