Collaborating Psychiatrist in South Carolina - Remote

Thriveworks is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to join our growing team of highly talented mental health professionals! The ideal candidate will share our commitment to quality healthcare and exceptional patient service.

In an effort to maintain safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine. We do not currently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort to refer out to an in-person provider when symptoms arise that are too severe to be treated via telemedicine only

***Collaborators must be licensed, live in the state, and practice medicine in that state at least 50% of the time.

- Once the NP starts seeing patients, compensation to the collaborating physician will be $800 per month, per NP

- Work remotely to provide clinical supervision to our employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. Provide a minimum of 1 time/month supervision (20-30 minutes) per NP using Zoom link provided by Thriveworks. Availability via text/email to answer questions is required M-F during business hours with a response within the same business day.

- Chart/Progress note review as required by state laws and governing bodies

- Provider may request additional supervision of NP based on clinical need or complexity of NP practice

- Completion of a short 1-page Google Document after monthly supervision for each collaborating NP

- Stay knowledgeable of company policies and program guidelines

- Active and Unrestricted Licenses in SC , and must live in the state of SC.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience supervising residents or mid-levels

- No malpractice payout, licensure disciplinary action, or criminal/professional investigations in the last 5 years

- You must have a compact license or be willing to get one or be licensed in multiple states.
