The Speech Language Graduate Intern is accepted into the iHOPE Graduate Student Program based on a successful interview and completion of their first year of graduate school in speech language pathology/communication disorders. The Speech Language Graduate Intern will be under the direct supervision of a staff SLP and the Director of the Department for the entirety of their internship.
The Graduate Student Intern will be responsible for providing speech and language services 3 days a week under direct supervision at all times. The Graduate Student Intern will be responsible for adhering to HIPPA and the policies and procedures of iHOPE. They will also be responsible for all paperwork associated with iHOPE’s Graduate Program and completion of a final project.
Internships are typically from 14-16 weeks in duration.
This is an unpaid internship opportunity that is only open to current students. The internship may be able to satisfy course credit if approved by the student's institution of learning.
