Full job description

Essential

Responsibilities - Plan, organize, and supervise the daily aftercare program. - Ensure the safety, well-being, and supervision of all students at all times. - Train, schedule, and supervise aftercare staff and substitutes. - Maintain accurate attendance records and student sign-in/sign-out procedures. - Communicate regularly with parents regarding student needs, program updates, and concerns. - Address student behavior using positive discipline consistent with the school's policies and Catholic values. - Ensure compliance with all school, diocesan, state, and local licensing or childcare regulations. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized program environment. - Manage program supplies and monitor the aftercare budget as assigned. - Coordinate emergency procedures and respond appropriately to accidents or incidents. - Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and staff to support the school's mission. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications - Commitment to supporting the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church and Holy Redeemer School. - Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Recreation, or a related field preferred. - Experience working with elementary-aged children required. - Previous supervisory or program management experience preferred. - Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. - Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification. - Successful completion of all diocesan background screening and Safe Environment requirements.
