Positions are available Spring 2026 semester. This position will be a hybrid teaching position, with classes held in person at the Sacramento Campus.

Below is a description of the course that needs staffing. **** Course Number TEC 621- Multiple Subject Curriculum and Instruction: Early Literacy Course Description: Focuses on theoretical principles, relevant curriculum, and pedagogical strategies necessary for developing and maintaining a balanced comprehensive literacy program that addresses the full range of learners in grades PK-3 and includes reading, writing, listening, speaking and critical literacy.

Topics include emergent literacy; word analysis; vocabulary development, comprehension strategies; use of digital resources. Candidates will gain experience in PK-3 literacy assessment and planning instruction that is based on students' strengths and needs.

Qualifications: Qualifications include an earned masters of education, K-12 teaching experience, and relevant experience.
