Huron's Centralized Intake Team manages inbound pursuit opportunities across all Huron industries - Public Sector, Healthcare, Education & Research, and Commercial - ensuring every opportunity is triaged, routed, and resourced with speed and consistency. The Business Development Coordinator-Intake & Qualification serves as the primary judgment layer for the centralized intake function.

This individual owns the end-to-end triage and qualification process, collaborates directly with business unit leads and pursuit managers, manages GET resource capacity and assignments, and drives accountability across the intake workflow. The successful candidate will combine strong critical judgment with a service mindset to ensure sellers and BU teams receive timely, accurate intake support.

This role owns the full process of qualifying inbound opportunities, routing decisions, GET capacity management, and intake documentation. Based on the candidate's title and experience, responsibilities may include any of the following but are not limited to: Triage, qualify, and route inbound opportunities in a timely and effective manner Serve as the primary intake contact for BU leads and pursuit managers across all Huron industries Review Salesforce watchlist, account, opportunity, NPR, and case history for inbound pursuits.

Identify proper industry ownership. Evaluate inbound opportunities against the standard qualification framework; apply cross-industry judgment to score and develop go/no-go recommendations Shred simple RFx for requirements. Match keywords to Huron capabilities.

Leverage AI to search for incumbent/competitive data. Highlight key dates and information regarding submission requirements. Own the triage matrix logic and intake routing guide; update decision criteria as pipeline patterns and industry mix evolve Communicate routing decisions and pursuit team assignments clearly; ensure all relevant stakeholders are included per the triage matrix Execute the intake-to-pursuit handoff for assigned opportunities, providing background, critical context, and next steps to assigned GET resources.

Utilize legal agent as needed. Escalate cases requiring review, capacity conflicts, and exception decisions to leadership with a clear recommendation and supporting rationale Manage GET capacity and resource assignment - Maintain and monitor GET capacity model across industries; match pursuit support needs to available resources in a timely manner - Use Salesforce reporting and dashboards to assess available GET SE capacity against inbound pursuit demand.

Liaise with industry GET representatives to assign cases. - Provide regular updates to GET and sales leadership on capacity, caseload, and potential risks - Oversee the Offshore Analyst's intake queue and triage activities; provide coaching, direction, and quality feedback on a regular cadence Drive pipeline reporting and data integrity - Review and validate ServiceNow analytics and pipeline reporting packages produced by the Offshore Analyst before distribution to leadership - Translate pipeline data into actionable insights for capacity planning and pursuit prioritization conversations - Monitor Salesforce case data for accuracy; work with the Offshore Analyst to resolve data gaps and compliance issues - Track key intake metrics - volume, cycle time, go/no-go ratios, routing accuracy - and surface trends to leadership Maintain and improve intake process documentation - Author and maintain internal playbooks for intake workflow, triage logic, and routing protocols - Design and update the triage matrix and routing guide decision logic as intake patterns change - Identify process gaps and propose improvements to increase throughput, decision quality, and service consistency - Support enterprise sales intake initiatives (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce case optimization, Service AI Agents) as needed POSITION REQUIREMENTS This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to exercise independent judgment in ambiguous situations, strong organizational skills, comfort engaging with senior stakeholders, and familiarity with automation/AI agents.

The successful candidate must be deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate across all levels supporting sales and pursuit efforts. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND BACKGROUND Required - 2-4 years of experience in proposals, pursuit management, or business development operations in a professional services or consulting environment - Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in ambiguous, time-sensitive situations - Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across BUs and leadership - Experience managing cross-functional workflows and coordinating across multiple teams simultaneously - Proficiency in CRM tools and pipeline tracking platforms (Salesforce or equivalent) - Ability to deliver high-quality work on multiple concurrent assignments, sometimes with tight deadlines and minimal supervision - Ability to work well remotely, independently, and as part of a team Preferred - Familiarity with Huron's industry verticals (Healthcare, Public Sector, Education & Research, Commercial) - Experience supporting or coordinating pursuit teams in a centralized or shared services model - Working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar workflow management tools - Experience developing or maintaining process documentation (playbooks, SOPs, routing guides) - Prior exposure to capacity planning or resource assignment processes - Experience using and innovating automation/AI agents (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) #LI-EA1 #LI-Remote The estimated base salary range for this job is $75,000 - $100,000.

The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.

This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $86,250 - $115,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.

The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
