Electronic Equipment Specialist, 1st Class - 2nd Shift

In this important role, some of your responsibilities will include:

Assembly & Integration

• Assembles and or wires complex electro-mechanical assemblies (cabinets, chassis, cables, & antennas etc.) utilizing drawings, wiring diagrams, flow diagrams, sketches or verbal instructions.
• Supports the installation/disassembly of complex systems, including equipment installation, cabling and repair of equipment in test.
• May adjust, repair or replace components or assemblies as required to assure compliance to all drawings and or specifications.
• May touch up finishes and install marking as required.

Technical Maintenance & Documentation

• May determine cause of faulty mechanical fit and or operation of assemblies and utilizing hand tools and drill press may make adjustments/repairs for proper fit and operation.
• May verify material accumulations when required.
• Receives general instructions from supervision, communicates material and process issues and generates problem sheets to resolve issues.
• Maintains production records, controlled drawings and associated paperwork, as required.

Please Note: This is for a 2nd shift role and US Citizenship is required due to facility requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience assembling and /or wiring complex electro-mechanical assemblies (cabinets, chassis, cables, & antennas etc.) utilizing drawings, wiring diagrams, flow diagrams, sketches or verbal instructions.
• Qualified candidate should have technical school training and a high school diploma or GED is required.
• US citizenship is required due to facility requirements. Desired Skills:
• Experience working with complex equipment systems that require cabling and repair of equipment in test
• Ability to adjust, repair, or replace components or assemblies
• Experience utilizing hand tools, drills, and/or drill press for adjustments/repairs, including but not limited to hammers, heat gun, wrenches, chisel, sanders, torque tools, pneumatic tool, various hand tools, etc
• Experience generating and/or maintaining problem reports, production records, and controlled drawings,

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week The base range for this position in New Jersey is $30.47 - $39.85.
