RN Supervisor Weekend Warrior Rate: $36- $38/hour (depending on experience) Shift: Part-Time Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 7 am- 7:30 pm
Autumn View Health Care Facility is looking to add an RN Supervisor Weekend Warrior to its nursing leadership team. In this role, you'll oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, ensuring residents receive high-quality care while supporting staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe and positive environment.

- Supervise nursing staff, including team leaders, nursing assistants, and trainees during assigned shifts
- Ensure resident care plans are implemented, updated, and followed appropriately
- Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition, ensuring timely communication with providers and families
- Oversee medication administration, treatments, documentation, and nursing services
- Address resident, family, visitor, and staff concerns while promoting a positive care experience
- Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling adjustments, and overtime authorization as needed
- Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management activities
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, resident rights, and regulatory requirements
- Respond to emergencies, safety concerns, incidents, and facility operational issues
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a geriatric or rehabilitation setting; 3+ years preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control practices, and resident rights
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
