Full job description

- Pay: Based on experience between $89K- 100K - This site manufactures petfood .

- Shift: 3rd (Nights) - Schedule: 2.2.3 rotation - Hours: 7pm- 730am

The Shift Manager is an operations people leader who efficiently improves Human Safety, Quality, and Conversion Costs while Engaging and Developing talent in the production facility.

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education - 3+ years of direct people leadership experience - 5+ years working in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment - Ability to effectively deploy training strategies and to directly train others. - Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and email

- Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. - Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) - Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping. - Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces. - Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours - Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions - Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

- Lead team of 15-22 associates to efficiently convert materials into quality products ensuring safety, security, sanitation, and adherence to design specifications and budgets. - Recommend and implement CI improvements in methods, equipment, systems, safety, product quality and the organization. - Guide teams through Autonomous Maintenance (AM) - People management including hiring, coaching, training and evaluating associate performance and create development plans aligned with career goals. - Assist Production Leads in coordinating materials, staffing, and resources for efficient line operations and changeovers. - Handle additional ad hoc tasks as needed.

- Starting Pay: Based on experience between $89-100K - Annual Bonus and Merit Increases - Benefits Starting Day One:
