Full job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES - Possess and maintain broad and in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, procedures, and standards related to industrial and commercial electrical installations. Extensive knowledge of Industrial Electrical installations and Process Automation is required. - Price and prepare change orders for change in scope as required.

Maintain the change order log of all submitted "COs" and status in the approval process. Work with the customer to ensure timely approval of CO's. Collaborate with the Field Superintendent to ensure CO work is not started until NACC has received approval to proceed in writing, including procurement of materials for CO scope. - Maintain the project schedule and update as required. - Maintain commodity installation trackers and track "Earned vs Burned" manhours. - Align with the Superintendent on appropriate manpower loading for various stages of the project(s). - Approve both POs and vendor invoices for your assigned project(s). - Align with the client on project progress billing, prepare progress billing certificates, and facilitate billing at defined intervals. - Perform field take-offs/evaluations for estimate preparation. - Compare various project documents for accuracy and consistency.

Review revised drawing sets against the previous version and document changes. Assess if a formal change order must be prepared. - Prepare RFI's for submittal and maintain the RFI log, including RFI response status. - Participate in the estimate review process with internal stakeholders. - Schedule and attend field walks with customers, subcontractors, and NACC Construction personnel as required. - The Project Manager has ultimate responsibility for the cost management of the project and will collaborate with the Superintendent to bring the project in at, or under budget.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: - Independently performs responsibilities with direction from the Construction Manager. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field experience preferred. - This position requires 5-10 years of gas and electrical facilities experience including 2 years of management experience. - Extensive familiarity with electrical gear along with knowledge of gas and electrical installation methods and materials. - Experience working for an operating utility company is desirable.

Read and interpret communication styles of team members and clients who come from both technical and non-technical disciplines. - Organization - Manage competing demands; organize workload to efficiently utilize time. - Software - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Projects, and PowerPoint. Bluebeam - Teamwork - Elicit feedback and cooperation from a wide variety of sources, project team members, other internal resources, and client representatives. - Quality Focus - Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve quality of project deliverables. - Resource Management - Ability to identify human capital needs, work with functional managers to obtains required resources, and manage resources from multiple functional disciplines.
