The Turning Points School, administered by NFI Vermont, is a trauma-informed choice and day treatment school. We are looking for a full-time classroom counselor. The position requires providing academic as well as social/emotional/behavioral support in the classroom.
The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, able to work in a team, interested in learning through feedback, and experienced and comfortable with adolescents who benefit from alternative learning experiences. Knowledge about PBIS and restorative approaches are a plus. Would you like to work a school schedule, with paid holidays, school vacations and 4 weeks off with pay in the summer?
