Delivery Operations Coverage Supervisor / Leadership Trainee

We Are Looking For - 2+ years of delivery, dispatch, transportation, logistics, warehouse, beverage distribution, or operations experience preferred. - Prior lead, supervisor, trainer, dispatcher, or operations support experience preferred. - Willingness to learn multiple delivery functions and provide coverage wherever needed. - Flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, holidays, peak-season schedules, Saturday dispatch, and occasional Brooklyn coverage. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with drivers, helpers, managers, sales, customer service, safety, garage, warehouse, vendors, and other departments. - Strong organization, follow-through, urgency, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment. - Comfort using systems, reports, spreadsheets, email, dashboards, and delivery-related platforms. - Ability to follow company policies, safety requirements, union contract guidelines, and management direction.

Success Looks Like - Delivery leadership can rely on you to step in, stabilize the operation, and keep work moving when coverage is needed. - Dispatch, routing, driver support, compliance follow-up, and reporting continue smoothly during absences or workload spikes. - Drivers and staff receive clear communication, timely follow-up, and consistent support. - Route issues, missed stops, equipment problems, accidents, injuries, and service concerns are documented and escalated properly. - You become trained across multiple Delivery Operations functions and help reduce dependency on any one individual. - You demonstrate the judgment, flexibility, accountability, urgency, and leadership maturity needed for advancement.
