Experience: 5+ years
- Independently creates and manages CAD designs and production drawings while actively contributing to the technical design of diverse projects across multiple disciplines.
- Supports leadership in driving innovation, process efficiencies, training, and quality assurance initiatives across the CAD team.
- Assists in identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes to support efficient, high-quality CAD deliverables.
- Contributes to continuous improvement of technical skills for self and team through ongoing learning and knowledge sharing.
- Supports analysis of weekly/monthly utilization to help balance workload and workflow across CAD teams.
- Assists in coordinating between CAD technicians and other departments to help meet deliverable expectations and timelines.
- Helps ensure documents align with Quality Management guidelines, including maintaining and communicating updates to QA/QC checklists.
- Works across multiple disciplines to support project needs and team collaboration.
- Provides day-to-day guidance and mentorship to CAD staff, supporting development and growth.
- Provides CAD training and support to employees across all experience levels and departments, including interns.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education preferred
- 5 years of relevant CAD experience (MicroStation and OpenRoads Design strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of CAD standards, workflows, and project coordination
- Experience advancing technical design and CAD drafting for a wide range of civil engineering projects, with increasing levels of complexity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
