Business Analyst II

Essential Functions - Essential functions as outlined in Business Analyst I. - Consistently makes strong contributions to projects and team efforts. - Has knowledge of the business side and contributes to strategic decisions. - Facilitate workshops and advanced requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders. - Identify areas for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions. - Lead the design, testing, and validation of sophisticated tools and processes. - Serve as the division expert in business analyst best practices, tools, and methodologies. - Ensure appropriate visibility and communication as it relates to the project/solution. - Collect feedback to look for issues and opportunities for improvement. - Ensure that all documents are complete and stored appropriately. - Demonstrates the guiding principles of Aerostar. - Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Follow established safety and ergonomic standards. - May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed. - Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, business, or related field. - Minimum 5 years related experience, or experience in lieu of education.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Knowledge, skills, and abilities as outlined in Business Analyst I. - Understanding of repeated queries via scripting, stored procedures, or other automation techniques expected. - Basic understanding of data models, data flow, and system design. - Specific experience in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel features, etc., required. - Business Analysis certification or formal training preferred.

Working Conditions: Exposure to a normal office environment. Position may occasionally require entering a production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
