EcoShield Waste Traffic Controller

The Traffic Controller is responsible for the supervision and success of the Miami, FL transfer station.

Direct traffic in and out of the transfer station

- Supervise and train drivers

- Manage movement of equipment to ensure efficient workflow

- Enforce all safety policies and procedures and conduct regular inspections

- Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations

- Manage operation and maintenance of heavy equipment

- Tarping required

- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred

- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in waste management, logistics, or operations

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with exposure to noise, dust, and waste materials

- Able to sustain physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting for extended periods

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

- Ability to operate machinery and perform site inspection

- OSHA certification

- CDL
