Baylor University is seeking an Assistant or Associate Director of the Baylor Cleanroom to assist in advancing the facility's strategic vision while overseeing its daily scientific, technical, and administrative operations.
This position manages and supervises Baylor's Cleanroom and its instrumentation, develops and maintains SOPs, and provides training and technical support to faculty, students, and researchers.
The Assistant/Associate Director is responsible for the operation, development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and user training of advanced microfabrication equipment, including but not limited to E-beam lithography system, ICP etching, PECVD, and different deposition systems.
Working closely with academic departments, colleges, students, faculty, and the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, the Assistant/Associate Director helps ensure the Cleanroom's continued growth and supports high-impact research across the university.
