Experience: 5+ years
- Design and implement modern CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using GitHub and Gearset, including branching strategy, automated deployments, and release gating
- Establish engineering standards across the SF team: peer review, linting, testing frameworks, branch hygiene, and code quality enforcement
- Implement feature flag infrastructure for safer rollouts and progressive delivery on the Salesforce platform
- Prepare our repository and tooling for AI-assisted development workflows (harness engineering, evals, automated review)
- Build and maintain sandbox and scratch org management processes, including automated seeding of representative test data so developers can work productively
- Instrument observability - logging, monitoring, alerting - across our Salesforce environment so we can detect and diagnose issues quickly
- After the initial 9-12 month buildout, contribute as a Salesforce engineer building features in Apex, LWC, and Flow alongside continued ownership of the Platform/DX domain
- Champion Platform Engineering best practices, testing, and release discipline with teammates
- 5+ years of Salesforce engineering experience, including hands-on Salesforce Platform Engineering in production
- Hands-on experience with Gearset, Salesforce DX, and Git-based deployment workflows
- Proven experience defining and enforcing branching strategies, code review standards, and release processes for Salesforce orgs
- Strong understanding of Apex and LWC testing frameworks, including how to drive test coverage, fast deployments, and reliability at scale
- Experience managing Salesforce sandboxes or scratch orgs, including refresh strategy and seeding with realistic test data
- Familiarity with feature flag patterns and progressive delivery on Salesforce
- Experience implementing observability - logging, monitoring, error tracking - for Salesforce or comparable platforms
- Working knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automation (Flows) - you'll be writing feature code in the 50/50 phase
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices including governor limits, bulkification, and design patterns
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bring a team along on new standards and practices
- Curiosity about AI-assisted development and how to make a SF codebase a great place for those workflows
- Open to using AI to amplify your skills and strengthen your work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) are a plus but not required
