As a Systems Engineer (manipulations) you will be responsible for:
- Support the design, development, integration, and validation of advanced robotic arm systems.
- Drive systems engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces.
- Define and manage system architectures, requirements, and technical specifications.
- Lead cross-functional integration efforts to ensure seamless performance across subsystems.
- Develop and maintain engineering processes, technical documentation, and design reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and drive root-cause analysis activities.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, controls, software, and product development teams.
- Contribute to product development from concept through deployment.
- Make informed technical decisions and recommendations in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation, processes, and product quality.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.S.), from a technical college or university in an Engineering field.
- 5+ years of System Engineering experience and electro-mechanical device experience (robotics is a plus)
- Experience with system documentation including Trade Studies, interface control documents, and ConOps
- Experience tailoring system engineering processes to balance level of SE effort to product/system needs.
