Securities Finance Trader

Who You Are (Must-Haves): - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative field. - 1-5 years of experience in a technical or trading role, ideally with some exposure to securities lending, short selling or related experience. - Proficient in Python and SQL. - Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. - Familiarity with core financial instruments (equities, fixed income, ETFs) and general market mechanics. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across teams. - High initiative and eagerness to learn about securities lending, product development, and advanced trading concepts. - Assess and manage counterparty, credit, and market risk while staying informed of market developments and regulatory changes. - Work with existing and new securities lending vendors on product development solutions. - Contribute to creating automated workflow solutions for securities lending trading and operations.
