Experience: 3+ years
Support the Head of Supply Chain in building the operating system that enables Atoms to scale from early retrofit builds to thousands of human-driven AV data-collection vehicles, and eventually to large-scale driverless L4 fleet deployment. This role owns day-to-day execution across procurement, logistics, inventory control, VIN-specific kitting, supplier coordination, and part-level traceability.
The core mission is to make sure every retrofit vehicle has the right hardware, in the right place, on time, with clean tracking from supplier PO → lot number → serial number → VIN → installer → calibration result → warranty/RMA history . This traceability model is central to the operating plan.
- Execute day-to-day procurement for sensors, compute, storage, harnesses, racks, brackets, power components, tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Track open POs, supplier ship dates, inbound logistics, receiving status, and delivery risks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy for high-value serialized hardware and fast-moving consumables.
- Build and manage VIN-specific kits so vehicles enter the retrofit line with complete, pre-verified hardware.
- Coordinate line-side replenishment with Vehicle Ops and install technicians to prevent missing-part delays.
- Support receiving inspection, serial-number scanning, labeling, storage, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
- Manage defective-part quarantine, warranty claims, and RMA follow-up with suppliers.
- Maintain supplier trackers, cost trackers, shipment trackers, and inventory dashboards.
- Partner with Vehicle Ops and QA to investigate part defects, batch issues, and retrofit blockers.
- Help implement lightweight ERP / asset-tracking processes as the fleet scales beyond spreadsheets.
This is a high-impact execution role at the center of Atoms' fleet scale-up. The Supply Chain Manager will help turn complex AV hardware into a repeatable, trackable, production-ready system. Every improvement in procurement speed, inventory accuracy, kitting discipline, and supplier follow-up directly increases retrofit throughput, vehicle uptime, and data-collection capacity.
- Required Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, vehicle distribution, or related roles within the automotive industry.
- Experience working for an automotive OEM, EV manufacturer, vehicle importer, or automotive distributor.
- Proven experience in Vehicle supply chain management, Demand planning and forecasting, Vehicle ordering and allocation, International shipment coordination, Logistics and 3PL management, Inventory and stock pipeline management, Dealer network support, Supplier management and invoice coordination
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational challenges.
