Experience: 1+ year
The Manager of State Advocacy will be responsible for helping design, build, and lead proactive state-level legislative strategies and campaigns related to youth online safety, state appropriations and grants, welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ young people, and other priorities - bridging the gap between policy analysis and community action by keeping track of laws, building strong networks, and collaborating both internally and externally to protect LGBTQ+ youth. This includes expanding partnerships, working with key legislators and government stakeholders, building coalitions and relationships, tracking legislative activity and managing data collection, distributing Trevor-branded materials/research/talking points, and grassroots and grasstops mobilization. This role will also support state defensive policy priorities as needed.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000
