General Superintendent - Mechanical

Job Summary Responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversite, and management of commercial mechanical construction projects up to $200M in value. Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications.

This position is responsible for assisting craft supervision to coordinating activities of workers engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications.

- Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman. Ensure that critical activities and decisions remain on schedule for the project management team.

Oversee field specific activities for commercial construction projects from setup to closeout related to industries including power, and data center / mission critical.

- Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team.

- Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule.

- Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.

- Coordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates and other Loenbro companies to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction of large-scale commercial projects.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing mechanical craft trades.

Previous experience working on data center or mission critical projects.

- Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.

- Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)

Potential or periodic amounts of time for the following: Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day
