Key Responsibilities Aggregate Demand Forecasting & Modeling - Own the end-to-end demand planning process, translating commercial pipelines, historical data, and internal product development schedules into a unified master demand plan. - Aggregate internal requirements for Test Engineering, R&D, Reliability, and design validation builds. - Partner with Manufacturing and Quality to factor manufacturing yield losses, scrap rates, and destructive test requirements into the top-level demand signal. - Maintain and govern the master file, ensuring dynamic alignment between planned forecasts and actual hardware consumption across all departments.
Internal Stakeholder Collaboration & Prioritization - Design and manage part allocation and prioritization plans when supply constraints require balancing commercial delivery against internal testing timelines. S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) Startup Foundation - Establish and lead the company's cross-functional S&OP framework to align Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain on a singular operational plan. - Facilitate regular demand review cycles to flush out hidden demand signals, changing test scopes, or shifting commercial timelines. - Model multiple demand scenarios to de-risk inventory exposure.
Process Development & Data Analytics - Define and track core planning metrics and build dashboards to provide cross-functional and leadership visibility. - Assist in evaluating future planning software and ERP modules as the company scales.
Qualifications - Education - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. - Experience - 5-7 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, supply chain operations, or production scheduling. - Experience in high-volume manufacturing or complex hardware environments - Experience managing complex Excel models and tracking non-commercial inventory consumption (e.g. yield loss, test requirements). - Technical Skills - Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data modeling (Oracle or SAP preferred). - Familiarity with hardware product lifecycles, engineering change orders (ECOs), and basic manufacturing flow/yield dynamics. - Advanced Excel skills for demand modeling. - Core Competencies - Startup agility mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and build processes from the ground up. - Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to reconcile differing inputs into a single, cohesive data set that is actionable for Material Planning, Manufacturing, and NPI teams. - Excellent communication skills to navigate competing priorities between commercial deadlines and engineering requirements. - Ability to identify trends in part consumption and manufacturing performance.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $100,000 - $160,000 annually. The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role.
