Full job description

What You'll Do Assists with preparing and applying coating applications to protect a wide variety of water utility systems, assets, equipment and appurtenances including valves, pipelines, feeders, gates, substructures and related water delivery assets prone to corrosion and wear.

Protect and improve a variety of structures and assets composed of various metals, concrete, wood or polymers. Support the core of water and power reliability by assisting in maintaining, stabilizing, or improving the quality of equipment within treatment plants conveyance and distribution facilities, shops and other occupied and unoccupied structures.

Assist with industrial surface preparation and performing spray, wipe, brush, roll, trowel, or dip application of specialized industrial coating materials to valves, pipes, and related equipment.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED in addition to minimal experience with hand tools and power tools associated with industrial coating applications.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS Employees in this position may be required to obtain and maintain the following certifications, licensing and registrations: License(s): Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent that allows you to drive during your employment is required at time of application.
