Brooks Instrument (www.brooksinstrument.com), an industry leader in flow and pressure instrumentation for critical applications, is seeking candidates for a CNC Lathe Set-Up position that will be based at our manufacturing location in Corona, California. Along with this location, the company has their headquarters based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania (suburban Philadelphia) and has manufacturing locations in Hungary, Malaysia, and Korea.

Set up and operate machines and produce production parts to required specifications
- Machine Setup, load and verify program on multiple machines
- Ability to understand CNC programs and minor editing capabilities
- Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications
- Maintain simple reports such as time sheets and work orders
- Ability to push, pull, lift, 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50lbs.
- Marginal position functions that are not included among the essential duties and responsibilities in this position description are also requirements of this position
- Receive set up information from Engineering department and prepare tools and fixtures per Engineering instruction
- Proof out and fine tune the programs to provide acceptable first article parts
- Ability to understand CNC programs and minor editing capabilities
- Knowledgeable of the applicable QMS policies and procedures applicable to the position
