KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for General Assembly - Quality Technician 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. (contract to hire)

Our client is looking for a Quality Technician that has an attention to detail and a driven attitude. You will be working with the Quality team to ensure that the products being produced meet the high standards expected of the company brand. You will become familiar with our clients products and manufacturing procedures while working in a fast-paced environment providing deliverable world-wide products.

THE DAY TO DAY
  • Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment
  • Understand and practice company Quality Policies
  • Perform dock audits
  • Record inspection and test results.
  • Maintain Quality Assurance Department records, both hard copy and electronic copy
  • Report all questionable items, materials and/or processes to appropriate management for analysis and disposition
  • Responsible individual with strong work ethic
  • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift – shift premium available where applicable.
  • Must be clean shaven.
  • All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showing and lunch periods on site.
  • You must be able to lift 50 – 80 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc.
  • Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to complete any required documentation.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma, GED, or greater.
  • Read, write, and speak basic English
  • Previous manufacturing and plant experience preferred
  • Ability to use hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc.
  • Understand specifications and labels associated with hazardous material
