Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Robotics

we are looking for a strong Software Engineer with robotics and machine learning experience, who will help us to accelerate the transition of low-level Perception tasks from algorithms to machine learning. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Technical Lead Manager of the Sensor Foundations Team. You will: - Transition low-level Perception tasks from algorithms to machine learning - Work on system integration and optimization - Evaluate task-level and system-level quality, developing new metrics as needed You have: - Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or similar technical field of study - 5+ years of industry experience - Strong C/C++ skills - Proficiency with Python - Experience with Computer Vision and Machine Learning - Experience with System Integration We prefer: - Masters or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a similar discipline - Experience with sensor data processing (Lidar, camera, or radar) - Experience in the AV industry The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below.
