: Oversees the administration and interpretation of psychological tests given to patients and the maintenance of test materials and supplies. Provides supervision for a team of psychometricians. Job Description: Essential Functions: Administers and scores psychological tests, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, and observes patient behavior.
Maintains accurate documentation and communicates results to supervising psychologist. Provides performance observation and feedback for psychometrician staff and trainees. Assists with the coordination of on-boarding training and continuing education.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure the quality of test administration and that assessments meet the needs of various user groups. Manages psychometrician schedules and travels between clinical sites to support program needs. Collaborates on recruitment, interviewing, and selection during the hiring of new psychometrician staff.
Oversees the maintenance of test materials and supplies, restocking and ordering tests and test forms as needed, and assists clinical leadership in monitoring budget considerations regarding inventory. Education
Requirement: Bachelor's degree in relevant field, required. Master's degree in psychology or additional graduate course work, preferred. Licensure
Requirement: Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Skills: Must be able to interact effectively with children of all ages and population. Leadership qualities including strong communication skills, organizational skills, and motivational skills. Experience: One year of experience as a psychometrician or equivalent, required.
