We are looking for a Global Employee Mobility Program Lead to join our Global Employee Mobility team. This role can be based in the United States or Singapore.
In this highly strategic role, you will serve as HPE's global mobility tax subject matter expert, partnering with HR, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, regional mobility leaders, and external vendors to support a globally mobile workforce. You will lead global mobility tax programs, advise on complex compliance matters, drive policy and program enhancements, and help shape the future of HPE's award-winning global mobility program.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, collaborating across global teams, and identifying innovative ways to improve programs and processes.
- Serve as the global mobility tax subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance to HR, business leaders, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisitions, regional mobility leaders, and employees on global mobility tax matters. - Lead global mobility tax programs, including international assignments, business traveler compliance, cross-border remote work, tax equalization, payroll reporting, and related compliance initiatives. - Advise on complex mobility and tax matters, including cross-border scenarios, mobile equity compliance, executive cases, mergers and acquisitions, and other specialized situations requiring consultation. - Ensure compliance with global mobility policies, processes, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. - Manage global mobility vendors, governance activities, and resolve complex employee and business escalations. - Develop and enhance global mobility policies, governance frameworks, and operational processes to support business objectives while responding to evolving regulatory requirements. - Lead strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, workforce integrations, and organizational transformations. - Independently lead key projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance compliance, operational effectiveness, and employee experience. - Identify opportunities to strengthen and evolve HPE's global mobility programs through innovative, practical, and scalable solutions.
- University degree required; advanced degree preferred. - 7+ years of Global Mobility experience with a strong background in global mobility tax. - Experience working within a corporate Global Mobility function. - Experience developing and implementing global mobility policies and programs. - Experience supporting global mobility tax programs within a large multinational organization is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of global mobility tax compliance, including expatriate taxation, tax equalization, payroll compliance, business traveler taxes, and other mobility-related tax specialties. - Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and cost management. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple competing priorities. - Strong vendor management, governance, and risk management capabilities. - Proven ability to solve complex business problems and implement creative, practical, and scalable solutions. - Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. - Ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams and senior stakeholder groups to provide consultative guidance on complex risk and compliance matters. - Experience with domestic and international policy development and execution.
