Full job description

What You Will Do Lead and manage a team of 10-15 Platform/Hardware Engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance feedback Oversee program development and sustainment activities in a Linux and Windows-based COTS compute environment Coordinate team staffing, training, and development to meet organizational and program needs Support the deployment and installation of complex systems at both CONUS and OCONUS sites, including Linux and Windows systems administration, network design, and COTS assembly and integration Monitor and report on program cost, schedule, and performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations Provide technical guidance to team members and facilitate communication between the program and Functional Engineering Leadership teams Collaborate with program managers to ensure customer satisfaction with delivered products and services Participate in proposal development, including creating and reviewing cost estimates and Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and presenting to senior leadership Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and organizational policies, including ASME Standards, IEEE Specifications, and IPC Standards Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of related work experience Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe Experience with program cost and schedule monitoring and reporting Experience with the deployment and installation of complex systems Experience with ASME Standards, IEEE Specifications, IPC Standards, Windows OS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and VMware solutions Experience in toolsets such as Visio, CREO, AutoCAD, cPDM (Windchill), and the Microsoft Office Suite Active and Current TS/SCI security clearance is required day 1.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
