Financial Analyst, External Reporting

- Education: You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Experience: You have 1-2 years in accounting, finance, or auditing (internship experience acceptable) - Tech Savvy: You have advanced proficieny in MS Excel - Detail-Oriented & Organized: You have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: You have strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

- Education: Master's degree or MBA, or CPA certification - Experience: You have experience in PeopleSoft/Oracle financial systems

- Support Financial Reporting: You will assist in preparing team deliverables, including both external and internal financial reports, and manage activities related to the period close process. - Prepare Journal Entries: Using your strong accounting skills and data analysis techniques, you will prepare journal entries to ensure financial reporting aligns with GAAP and company policies. - Reconcile and Analyze Accounts: You will reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze account activity for compliance with GAAP and company policies.

You will also analyze P&L activity to identify the root causes of variances to budget/forecast and highlight trends, communicating your findings to the Senior Financial Analyst. - Perform Ad Hoc Analyses: You will complete ad hoc analyses, including data extraction and manipulation, as requested, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
