Technical Service Representative (North East)

Technical Service Representative (North East) Huntsman is seeking a Technical Service Representative (North East) supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Arlington, TX. This position will report to the Technical Service Director. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory or be willing to relocate.

Job Scope The Technical Services Representative(North East) supports the Sales organization's mission by developing and maintaining a profitable customer base for polyurethane spray foam products. This role provides technical expertise, customer training, troubleshooting support, and field service activities that help drive chemical and parts sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with Huntsman Building Solutions standards.

In summary, as the Technical Services Representative, you will: Train customers, sales representatives, and employees on the proper application of Huntsman Building Solutions polyurethane spray foam products, including specialty products. Provide troubleshooting and application training at customer facilities and job sites.

Review and provide input on product specifications and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) to ensure accurate customer information. Submit daily reports documenting customer projects, discussions, and action items. Develop strong customer relationships and build customer confidence.

Inspect warranted and non-warranted projects to ensure compliance with Huntsman Building Solutions standards. Comply with all Huntsman Building Solutions policies and applicable governmental safety regulations.

Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience applying polyurethane spray foam. Valid driver's license required. Must reside in Colorado, as relocation assistance will not be provided.

Skills and Knowledge (Behaviorals) Working knowledge of equipment associated with polyurethane spray foam application. Strong technical proficiency in SPF application and related equipment operation. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor with a high level of integrity.

Strong customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of field service experience as a Field Service Engineer or Field Service Technician. Technical certification or Associate's degree. Bilingual proficiency.

Working Environment Work performed at various construction sites, including residential projects. Travel requirements exceeding 85% of the work week by air or automobile. Flexible work schedule with limited advance notice when business needs require.

Residence near a major airport is preferred. Exposure to extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold. Use of a full-body Tyvek suit and a sealed full-face respirator.

Work performed in confined spaces and elevated areas requiring ladder access. Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 70 pounds.
