ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & SKILLS :

Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Dimensional inspection of parts to engineering drawings and/or CAD models - Create, compile and maintain inspection records and other required documentation - Examine incoming parts and documentation to confirm correct specifications are met - Part numbering and traceability - Non-destructive testing of parts (Magnaflux and Zyglo) - Communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and written - Proficient with Windows based computers and MS software such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - Able to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent required - 0-3 years of work experience in manufacturing or other relevant experience - Experienced with basic hand measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and height gauges. - Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes - Ability to read basic blueprints - Basic understanding of metrology best practices and gage handling

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Position requires occasional moderate physical activity - Moving and maneuvering heavy objects may be required at times

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

- 7:30 AM start time, Monday-Friday - 40-hour standard work week with overtime paid as worked when required - Must be flexible with schedule to accommodate fixed deadlines, sometimes working longer hours, Saturdays, and/or Sundays

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Combination of quality lab and manufacturing areas - Periodic travel may be required between local facilities - Stress may occur periodically

- Being a team player - Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload to meet deadlines - Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation) - Have great attention to detail - Strong work ethic and pride in their work - Willingness to learn
