Full job description

About the role

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for managing the purchase process, receiving of goods and services, parts storage rooms and the preventative maintenance (PM) program.

Your responsibilities
TECHNICAL & OPERATIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Responsible for all stages of the purchase order process for parts, equipment, services, etc...

- Contract compliance, quoting, price comparisons, PO generation / issuance and receipt of goods and services.

- Reviews and investigates vendor PO's for purchases over 30 days for items not received.

- Ensures the receipt, verification, communication and distribution of all goods ordered.

- Participates in the parts budget process and communicates high priority requisitions.

- Responsible for the parts rooms with the department Maintenance Lead for its organization, storage, min/max levels, parts control, critical parts identification, new parts registry, warranty, labeling and annual cycle count compliance and execution to ensure proper inventory levels to avoid excess or deficiency of inventory.

- Execute all responsibilities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) iMaint, to include preventative maintenance, work orders and purchase order generation and updates.

- Manage the departments preventative maintenance program for new, modification and execution of PMs

ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY (EHS):

- Accountable for compliance with OSHA and RB local / Global EHS Policies (i.e. PPE, HAZCOM).

- Participation and timely completion of EHS programs (i.e. behavior safety observations, near miss reporting).

- Accurate and timely completion of inspections, reports and forms to comply with EHS rules and regulations.

- Successfully complete all EHS training (i.e. Hazardous Waste, HAZWOPER) for the employee's safety.

- Participate in EHS internal / external audits and / or regulatory inspections.

- Active participation during incident investigations and promoting of all safety activities / events.

- Comply with Contractor Management policy and obtain SDS for new MRO products and provide to EHS.

QUALITY:

- Following all Quality, GMPs, good housekeeping, cleaning standards and guidelines.

- Following work instructions and adhering to the Quality Control Plan and Standard Operating Procedures.

TEAMWORK:

- Consistently demonstrates leadership abilities on designated lines that he/she is operating.

Trains, certifies, coaches and documents for new hires, peers or others, as needed.

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS:

- Work an eight (8) hr. shift - must be able to work weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime as needed.

- Proper use of all PPE is always required.

- Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, turning and lifting of tools / equipment up to 50 lbs. is required.

- Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs and crossovers are common.

- Exposure to noise, heat, cold, dust and fumes.

The experience we're looking for

- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

- Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience in a team based manufacturing environment.

- Technical knowledge of Aerosol / Liquid production, consumer packaging equipment and operations.

- Strong mechanical, electrical, or reliability maintenance background is desired.

- Demonstrated competency in attention to detail, accuracy, work standards, initiative and managing work.

- Must have strong communication skills and command of the English language, both verbal and written.

- Must be able to perform duties with minimal / no direct supervision.

Proficient with email, computers, software, and data processing.

Salary ranges
USD $88,000.00 - $110,000.00
