Dy Manager- Maintenance ZHB

- Apply comprehensive knowledge of Analytical Quality Control tools and methodologies such as ISO standards, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), QC Story, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to improve maintenance processes and ensure operational excellence. - Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on mechanical power presses, electrical overhead travelling (EOT) cranes, and other heavy machinery ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. - Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with manufacturing presses, ensuring precise functionality and safety compliance. - Conduct thorough checks and corrective adjustments to maintain parallelism and perpendicularity of presses to meet production standards and quality requirements. - Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements related to plant safety, equipment maintenance, and environmental standards. - Oversee preventive maintenance programs aimed at maximizing uptime, reducing mean time to repair (MTTR), and increasing mean time between failures (MTBF) particularly for tryout and spotting presses, CNC machines, and essential utilities such as overhead cranes, diesel generator sets, compressors, and forklifts. - Plan, control, and monitor inventory levels of critical spare parts to support uninterrupted production activities and to reduce equipment downtime. - Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) autonomous and planned maintenance pillar activities, facilitating team engagement, root cause analysis, and corrective action deployments. - Collaborate across departments to align maintenance strategies with overall plant objectives, to improve equipment reliability, cost efficiency, and manufacturing quality. - Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, safety awareness, and adherence to best practices within the manufacturing environment. - Utilize data-driven methods and advanced analytics to evaluate equipment performance and maintenance interventions for strategic decision-making.

Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering. This educational background equips candidates with fundamental principles in mechanical systems, machinery maintenance, and engineering problem-solving essential for this role.

Additional certifications or training in maintenance management, reliability engineering, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, or quality management systems (such as ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001) will be advantageous.

Ongoing professional development to keep up-to-date with latest industry technologies, safety regulations, and process improvements is encouraged to maintain high standards of expertise and compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 11 years of progressive experience within the maintenance function of engineering or manufacturing industries, with a preference for exposure in the automotive or tractor manufacturing sectors.

Experience should demonstrate a proven track record in managing maintenance activities of large-scale heavy machinery and plant utilities, showing expertise in ensuring high equipment availability and reliability.

Candidates should also have experience with planning and executing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, managing spare parts inventory, and leading maintenance teams in a dynamic, production-focused environment.

Exposure to quality standards such as ISO 9001, knowledge of total productive maintenance (TPM), and experience in using root cause analysis methodologies for equipment breakdowns are highly desirable.

- In-depth practical experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical power presses and associated hydraulic and pneumatic systems in an industrial manufacturing setting. - Strong command over applying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies, particularly PM pillar activities, aimed at improving machine uptime and maintenance efficiency. - Demonstrated ability to monitor and enhance critical performance metrics including uptime, mean time to repair (MTTR), and mean time between failures (MTBF) for key machinery such as CNC machines, tryout and spotting presses, overhead cranes, compressors, and other manufacturing utilities. - Proficient in interpreting and ensuring compliance with statutory and legal regulatory requirements related to plant safety, environmental health, and mechanical operations. - Experience in maintenance planning, controlling spares effectively to reduce downtime, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for seamless operations. - Capability in conducting detailed mechanical alignments and adjustments specifically relating to press equipment to uphold precision manufacturing standards. - Strong leadership skills to guide maintenance engineers and technicians, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
